EUROPEAN COMMUNITY LAW



On the missions assigned to it, BMH analyses the interests at stake, evaluates the client's economic exposure, and advises appropriately with regards to European Community law.

Counsel for private and public sector companies, and professional sector representatives (agriculture, food, phytosanitary) :

BMH analyses the compatibility of the activities, projects and contracts of French or foreign companies with European Community law, and the impact of the absence or misapplication of European Community regulations (free movement of goods, government subsidies, government procurement, parafiscal taxes) on the commercial policies of its clients on the French market.

BMH assists companies with the process of initiating and developing the strategy to adopt when bringing their projects or contracts in line with French authorities (concerned ministries) and their control agencies (DGCCRF — Directorate-General for Competition)

BMH defends its clients' interests within the scope of French and European Community litigation on the compliance of French law to EEC law, in particular regarding those of competition (concentration notification, complaint filing, preliminary rulings, appeal for annulment).
